There is unfortunately a lot of construction surrounding the venue, to access the Crowne Plaza Hotel OR Union Station (reception venue) the ONLY way to get to the check in desk/valet parking is to enter via Illinois Street. It will appear like Illinois Street is closed. Really closed. It is open to hotel and venue traffic. After turning North on Illinois you will drive thru some major construction, under a bridge and then the road will turn and you will arrive at the entrance to the Crowne Plaza. Your GPS will NOT take you this way. If you prefer to park in an area garage, the entrance to the Grand Hall is the second entrance on the side facing Illinois Street See below for parking garage options.
Ceremony parking: feel free to park in the church parking lot or on any neighboring streets. There are a few parking options near Gather 22, there is map of the parking options at this link when you scroll to the bottom. https://www.gather22.com/host-event-with-gather-22 - There is a small lot attached to Gather 22 and another lot across 22nd St. - Street parking is free all along Pennsylvania St. - A larger parking lot you can enter on Meridian St. just North of Gather 22 - An additional larger lot between Penn Cleaners and Baby's
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30. We request guests arrive between 2:00 and 2:15
Formal attire please Women: Floor length, ankle/midi length or formal cocktail dresses are all acceptable! Men: Suit, dress shirt and tie!
We request you only bring guests who are listed on your invitation.
While we love your little ones, this will be an adult only event.
Please see the travel tab to book with our hotel blocks. There are also many other options in the downtown area as well as air bnbs if that is your preference!
There will not be transportation provided between the ceremony and reception. There will be a couple hour gap between the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour, it is our hope that guests use this time to travel and park! There is also a fews bars near the Crowne Plaza that would a convenient place to gather before cocktail hour begins! One of our favs is Kilroy's Bar N' Grill, just a quick walk to the venue!
