Yes, a valid US passport is mandatory for all air travel to the Bahamas.
Upon landing at North Eleuthera airport, you will take a 5 minute taxi ride to Three Island Boat Dock (taxi ride will be ~$10 in cash). From there, you can request a water taxi, and you'll be off to Harbour Island which is just a 15 minute boat ride. From there, you can take a taxi, or your accommodations can pick you up from the dock. *Note that most hotels and rental hosts will offer transportation*
There will be complimentary boat rides provided to and from the venue for all wedding events. We recommend getting a golf cart once on Harbour Island as this is the best way to get around.
We recommend both cash (USD or BSD) and credit cards in the Bahamas, as major credit cards work, but cash is essential for taxis, tips, smaller vendors, etc. US Dollars are accepted everywhere at a 1:1 exchange rate with the Bahamian Dollar (BSD).
