The Wedding Website of Meg Fellows and Mike Millman
Evergreen Museum & Library is a historical home that once belonged to the Garrett family, owners of the B&O Railroad. The eccentric Garretts included suffragist Elizabeth (who secured the admission of women to Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 1893), diplomat and bibliophile John, and larger than life patroness of the arts Alice. Evergreen now houses much of the Johns Hopkins rare book collection, one of the world's largest arrays of Tiffany glass, and works by Degas, Picasso, Modigliani, and many others. After completing her history degree, Meg worked as a tour guide at Evergreen, and fell in love with the home and the ongoing legacy of the Garrett family, whose bequeathment continues to support Baltimore arts and history today. We sincerely hope you will plan a tour of Evergreen while you are in the area! Though closed on Easter Sunday, it is open for tours Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00-3:00.
