We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation.
While we love your kids, the venue has limited capacity. We decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adult-only event. We hope you understand and encourage you to use this evening as a fun "night out" for yourselves.
We ask that all guests wear formal garden attire. Please avoid jeans, slipslops or black or white clothing. If you would like some more inspo, follow @joshandmegsayja on Instagram!
While most of the events will be outside, the reception will be under cover. In addition, farm weather can be unpredictable, so bring a jacket just in case. Ladies, block heels and wedges will be your best friend!
As the wedding is on the farm and to help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. You can RSVP by clicking the RSVP tab on our wedding website. Start by typing in your name and surname, from there you'll be able to see all the names of those listed on your invitation and RSVP accordingly. The RSVP deadline is 25 August, if we don't receive your RSVP by this date we'll mark you as "declined". We hope you can understand and we'll miss celebrating with you!
We will be having an "unplugged ceremony". This means that we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? We have hired a professional photographer to capture the moment - if you get in the way of the photographer or have your phone out in the pictures, our photographer will kindly photoshop you out. Our officiant will provide a period of time for everyone to take pictures or videos, otherwise pop your phones away and enjoy the moment!
The Drosty Hotel comes with many great reviews located on the main street in Graaff-Reinet. There are also smaller accommodation options within the town. However, the wedding venue is about 50km from Graaff-Reinet, so to make things easier, the neighbouring farms have kindly offered their cottages as additional accommodation closer to the venue. If you are interested, please check out the "Travel" tab on the website and book your accommodation via the designated contact person.
