Our Story

John and Meg first met as teenagers, two kids from neighboring towns who crossed paths on carefree weekends. They were easy friends from the start, never imagining that the universe had a much larger plan for them. They were always friends, but one day discovered that they had the same outlook on life. They believed that there was no such thing as coincidences. Coincidences were nudges from the universe showing them signs that they were on the right path. They bonded over a very important book, The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield. This book was the spark that lit their flame, showing them their connection wasn't random at all; it was meant to be. Daily conversations quickly became the highlight of their days, and soon, neither could imagine a day without the other. On June 25, 2016, John asked Meg to be his girlfriend, and in perfect alignment with their belief in signs, fireworks lit up the sky just after she said yes. From that moment, they moved through life with a steady certainty. They trusted their timing, savoring every chapter rather than rushing to the next. They explored new restaurants, hiked trails, traveled across states and across oceans, camped under the stars, spent lazy days at the beach, and even built memories over video games. They moved in together and built a life that felt both grounded and expansive. Then came a trip they’ll never forget, their first time in Europe, on the island of Crete, Greece. One evening, as the sun dropped into the sea and the world quieted around them, John knelt in the sand and asked Meg to be his wife. Meg didn’t hesitate and said yes. Later that night, fireworks burst across the sky, echoing the magic of their very first beginning. It felt like the universe was reminding them: this was always meant to be. Now, they’re ready for the next step. To stand on a beautiful beach, surrounded by the people they love most, and promise each other forever.
