Meg was Joe's first and only Tinder date. A fact that elicits the world's biggest eye roll. In all sincerity, we met on August 23rd, 2018 at The Public House in Colorado Springs. Over the course of several hours got lost in conversation, forgot to eat, and interacted with some "intriguing" characters (including a self-proclaimed former NFL trainer). Joe knew Meg was special because even in the presence of an NFL trainer, he couldn't keep his eyes off of her. Meg knew Joe was special because she broke her rule and let him kiss her goodnight. Over the course of the next two years we commuted between Colorado Springs and Pueblo, growing fonder for each other by each 45 minute trip. We quickly began building a life together raising two rescue pups, starting an annual Christmas Eve hiking tradition, and even traveling abroad. Soon enough we bought a home, moved in, and lovingly quarantined together which made us realize we can tackle any challenges. Joe asked Meg to marry him on August 15, 2021 on the Women's Trail in Divide, Colorado but only after we got lost. We can't wait to spend our lives together and are grateful to have you join us in the celebration of our marriage.
