Where is the venue located?

Answer

The Chapel Athens is located at 100 Prince Ave, Athens, GA 30601. If you're staying at Hotel Indigo, the venue is just a short 9-minute walk away. Feel free to enjoy the stroll if you'd rather not drive.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 5:00 PM to ensure you're comfortably seated before our ceremony begins promptly at 5:30 PM.

Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, and we hope you'll understand our decision. We're thrilled to have you there and look forward to celebrating with you. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Yes, semi-formal attire is requested.

Plus-ones are included by name on the invitation. If no additional guest is listed, we kindly ask that you attend solo, as we've made thoughtful decisions about our guest list.

Is there parking available?

Yes! Free parking is available in the parking deck directly behind the venue. Use the small driveway off Prince Avenue to access it.

Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors. Guests will enjoy cocktail hour outdoors in the courtyard and garden area. The reception will then take place indoors.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No transportation is provided, but everything is walkable or a short drive/Uber away.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar serving beer, wine, and mixed drinks. Unlimited drinks will be available for all guests of legal drinking age. Please note, the bar will close 15 minutes before the event ends. Non-Alcoholic Beverages: Water, tea, soda, and coffee will also be available.
