We love a good weekend exploring Orange County. Here are our favorite spots in San Juan Capistrano (SJC), San Clemente, Dana Point and Laguna Beach.

SJC Restaurants

El Cafe Rio: the breakfast and lunch spot at our venue, The Inn at the Mission Ysidora: Spanish style restaurant and bar at our venue Ramos House Cafe: best brunch in town Hidden House Coffee Tea House on Los Rios: great spot for afternoon tea/scones/lunch Ellie’s Table on Egan street: breakfast Bloom: new restaurant that is always booked, make dinner resy ahead of time Trevor’s on the Tracks: dinner spot with live music often right on the train tracks Rancho Capistrano Winery: wine tasting, great food for dinner Mayfield: brunch or dinner, make a resy in advance Breezy: coffee and brunch Swallows Inn: dive bar/country bar with line dancing

SJC Things to Do

**If you are staying at our venue, the destination fee includes: 2 tickets to tour the Mission SJC, 2 bikes (also has e-bikes) and an olive oil tasting for 2** Walk on Los Rios street, the oldest street in California Spa day at The Inn at the Mission The Trolley goes from San Juan Capistrano to Dana Point (explore the Harbor and Lantern District there) and San Clemente (great beach trails and shopping on Del Mar Street) Zoomars is a cute petting zoo with horse rides, tractor rides and a park inside Take a cooking class at Tspoons across from our venue, sign up ahead of time!

Dana Point Things To Do

Walk along Doheny Beach, take a dip in the ocean after Go see the harbor and the Lantern District (especially if you are staying at the Laguna Cliffs Marriot Hotel) Kayak in the harbor Whale watching out of the harbor Watch the sunset at Salt Creek Hill or see a summer concert there (bring blankets and picnic)

San Clemente Restaurants

San Clemente Things To Do

Go for a scenic beach walk starting on the North Beach trail and end at San Clemente State Beach (2.3 miles) Shop on Del Mar Street (great boutiques) Grab coffee at Bear Coast Coffee and walk to the pier across the street Take the San Clemente Trolley Trestles Beach is a must for surfers

Laguna Beach Restaurants

Harvest: great brunch at The Ranch Hotel/golf course up along the mountains Zinc: one of the best breakfast spots, can’t go wrong with anything on the menu Hotel Laguna: grab a cocktail at their bar that overlooks the ocean Splashes: grab a drink at the Surf and Sand Resort with an oceanview Driftwood Kitchen: great dinner spot The Deck: directly next to Driftwood Kitchen, grab a drink and catch the sunset prior to dinner at Driftwood Nick’s South of Nick’s Rum Social

Laguna Beach Things To Do

Go walk through Heisler Park, one of our favorite scenic spots for sunset Make your own candle at Laguna Candles Go to Treasure Island Park at the Montage Laguna Beach for a picnic or beach walk
