On summer of 2021, we thought marriage was way long ahead of us. Before Dai left to Rhode Island to pursue his art academics, he bought Meg an infinity ring as a promise ring for their future life. On summer of 2022, we thought again. "Maybe marriage will make this long distance feel better?" Action before deep thoughts, Dai bought Meg an engagement ring and proposed by the ocean where we used to go on dates all the time. On August 4th of 2023, we submitted our marriage papers in Tokyo. On the same year in September 20th, we submitted some more papers in California with Meg's father as witness for a civil ceremony in city hall. =============== After 6 years of relationship, 3 years of long distance, 1 year after marriage, we finally settled into our new life together in New York from this October.
