When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by April 18th! If you do not RSVP by the deadline, you will be marked as a no, and we will unfortunately not be able to accommodate you.

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 15-20 minutes before the ceremony to allow sufficient time to reach your seats! If you arrive after the processional has started, please wait near the building until the bride has processed down the aisle.

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We would love to have you get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is garden cocktail party attire! Ladies - Think floral patterns and bright colors, and those nice dresses you don't get to wear too often! (No white dresses please!) Men - A nice suit jacket and some slacks will work just fine, don't be afraid to look your best! (Please stay away from navy jackets and no jeans.)

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

We want to celebrate intimately with close friends and family only, so we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP! Thank you for understanding!

Can My Kids Come?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of a few children in the wedding party. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a special night out with us!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, while the reception will be indoors! We will have fans up for grabs before the ceremony, as well as refreshments after!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is to be fully present when we say "I Do!" We have hired professionals to capture this moment and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

How is the drive to the venue?

Answer

The drive to The View at Hillside Barn is beautiful and scenic. However, please be aware that to get to our ceremony, you will drive up a gravel-paved hill, which is a little bumpy and steep!
