Late September in Georgetown can be a busy tourist time, thanks to the beautiful leaves changing on the local aspen trees. It is an incredible time of year to visit, but we suggest that those traveling from out of town book their stay early to avoid full hotels.
For those that are local, please remember that traffic during "leaf-peeping" season can be quite heavy along I-70. Though the ceremony will be later in the day, we suggest checking traffic early and often to avoid getting delayed.
