Hi everyone! Hope the new year is going swell! The wedding is still on for May 8th, 2021, but we do have a backup date in case the Lodge has to shut down again due to Covid-19. That date is Saturday August 7th, 2021. Hopefully we will not need to use that date, but definitely mark it in your calendars. Also, it would be great if everyone could RSVP again via email, text, or call by April 2nd. Other good news.. the remodel of the campground is complete so feel free to take the cheaper route and camp that weekend! If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me (Meg)!
All, I know everyone has been waiting to hear from us.. sorry it took so long, but now we have all our information. We have rescheduled our celebration at Pere Marquette to May 8, 2021. All reservations within our room block at the lodge for this year have been cancelled and moved to the new date (May 7th-May 9th, whatever day of the week you originally booked). This means if you still plan on coming you don't need to change anything, but if you don't think you will be able to make it due to the new date, you will need to call and cancel your reservations (you may not be able to do this until they open back up). We hope everyone is being safe and stays healthy! Love, The Future Mr. and Mrs. Pemberton
We met at Missouri Valley College fall semester of 2016. We had a couple classes together in the science center and both joined biology club, so we began getting to know each other. Caleb was definitely interested in Meg (but thought she was way out of his league), while Meg planned to friend zone Caleb (because she enjoyed being around him and didn't want to mess up the friendship). Lets just say Caleb didn't stay in the friend zone for long...
We planned a camping trip at Johnson Shut-Ins State Park with our bestfriends, Alan and Lucretia. Little did I (Meg) know, Caleb and Lucretia had been planning for something more than just a camping trip. If you know Lucretia, you know she is crazy about pictures, so taking a ton of photos for a FRIENDS themed Christmas card didn't seem too odd. After many pictures, Caleb grabbed my hand and said the sweetest things while getting down on one knee. With tears in my eyes, I smiled, nodded, and said "YES!"
