Question

Are children invited?

Answer

No, this is an adults-only event. However, babies under 2 years of age are welcome -- though you may want to leave them at home so you can hit the dance floor!

Question

LA is ridiculous. There's parking at the venue, right?

Answer

Due to space constraints we ask that you take a rideshare or a taxi to the wedding at the Houdini Estate. The welcome drinks at Yamashiro features valet and the post-wedding get together at Mary's will have ample street parking.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We respectfully ask that you do not bring any uninvited guests as we are at capacity with our guest list and the venue is very strict on headcount.

Question

How should I dress?

Answer

Dress up! Get fancy! The wedding is Black Tie Optional. We'd love you to have fun at the unique venue and come dressed inspired by Old Hollywood glitter and vintage glam! And please, no jeans at the wedding! ALSO!: Ladies (and gentlemen), at the wedding venue there are a lot of stairs, hills, lawns and other uneven surfaces so we recommend wedges, dress flats, or other similar fancy-but-comfortable footwear. We do NOT recommend stilettos! For welcome drinks at Yamashiro the dress code is Cocktail attire. For the post-wedding goodbye brunch it is more casual but we ask you still dress like you're meeting your spouse's parents for the first time.

Question

I have a crippling nicotine addiction. Can I smoke?

Answer

In designated areas, Yes, otherwise, No. This includes E-cigarettes! A member of the bridal party is highly allergic to smoke and we request that you be respectful of this fact as well as the rules of the venue.
