We met the way a lot of modern love stories begin: on a dating app. On our first date, we did what most people do, asked each other what we did for work. Austin had just started his own roofing company, and Megan was working as a project manager in the same industry. Out of all the paths we could’ve taken, somehow we ended up sitting across from each other, building in the same world. What started as easy shop talk quickly turned into something much more steady. As Austin worked to grow the business into what it is today, Megan stepped in to help, and our professional partnership naturally mirrored our personal one. We took our time getting to know each other, letting our trust grow without ever feeling the need to rush what mattered. As our relationship deepened, so did the trust. Megan’s daughter, Aeri, was never just an introduction, it was something we approached with care, intention, and a lot of love. Watching that relationship grow, naturally and in its own time, has been a meaningful part of our story. Somewhere along the way, what we were building stopped being just about us as individuals. It became something bigger, something rooted in love, patience, and commitment. Turns out, we weren’t just building roofs, we were building a life together.
