Megan and Zach met at a popular bar in Columbia, MO called My House the summer of 2018. Megan swore she wouldn't start dating a boy her senior year as she was hoping to get into PA school. Zach & Megan caught each others eyes on the dance floor and spent the rest of the night talking. As the last call light turned on at the end of the night, Zach FINALLY asked for her number.

A few days after meeting, Megan and Zach went to Andy's for their first date. This is where they found out Megan knew Zach's grandparents, who were always telling Zach about a cute girl who went to their church in Fayette! Zach somehow managed to charm Megan with his 30 minute talk about traffic mirrors, and the rest of the relationship is history.

Megan and Zach started a long distance relationship after only 9 months of dating when Megan moved to Colorado for PA school. They knew pretty quickly that it was a relationship that would last for the long haul. By the time of the wedding, they will have done 3 years of distance and man, they are sick of it!

Zach drove Megan back out to Colorado after 2 weeks in Missouri to start her 3rd year of PA school. It was Memorial Day weekend, and Megan was convinced Zach was never going to propose before she started clinicals. Boy was she wrong. At the top of a beautiful hike near Idaho Springs, Zach got down on one knee. It was the most perfect, secluded proposal Megan could've asked for...and it ended with a shiny rock!
