It all started the first weekend of freshmen year at the University of Scranton. Megan and Zach met through Zach’s childhood friend, turned college roommate and now groomsmen, Matt Keller. Megan and Matt had met the summer before freshmen year as he was neighbors to the family she babysat throughout high school. Upon arrival in Scranton, Megan texted Matt to meet up and Matt brought along his roommate, Zach. As they meandered around campus, Megan and Zach quickly hit it off and a friendship swiftly blossomed. After countless dates at Denaples Hall as well as hang outs around campus, they officially started dating February 7th, 2013.

Megan was busy planning a weekend trip for her parents as they were finally coming Sea Isle City (where Zach and Megan can be found almost every weekend in the summer months). Unbeknownst to Megan, Zach took that opportunity to plan the perfect proposal in their favorite place surrounded by their family. On Saturday, Megan, Zach and company set off on a brewery and winery tour through Sea Isle and Cape May. At the final stop, Willow Creek Winery, after a wine tasting and snapping pictures in the vineyard, Zach got down on one knee and asked Megan to marry him!
