We got married :)

We owe it all to Erin Philips' annual karaoke mixer. Every year Erin hosts a karaoke party where people from all different circles of her Venn diagram of life come together to embarrass themselves in front of and/or impress friends and strangers while singing songs that other people wrote and sang a little or, most likely, a lot better. Back in 2019, Will signed up to sing Brad's part in "Dammit Janet, " which many of you may know from that old Rocky Horror Picture Show movie, but he didn't have anyone too play Janet. Megan - a long time fan of Susan Sarandon and Janet - was all too excited to help. Fast forward a few years and karaokes later and now you're here reading about how they met and how they can't wait to spend the rest of their dating lives dating each other forever, and ever, amen. Billy and Megan, Billy and Reid, Will and Megan, Will and Reid - whatever you know them as - are both so grateful to all the people in their lives that have made them who they are and who have joined them on the paths that have brought them to one another. So they want to extend a huge thanks to all involved in the making of them and they sure do hope they get to celebrate with them on their big day.

It was late summer in Austin, TX. They were sitting on Reid's front porch complimenting one another as usual. When Will said to Reid, "I want to marry you." Reid who already knew she felt the same way, and had been thinking so for weeks, said, "me too, let's see if we feel the same way after we travel together." Since then, the only thing that's changed is that their love and respect for one another has grown stronger and their desire to be one another's forever partner has increased. So on December 13th, Reid went to an antique shop in Wilmington and picked out a Bloodstone set in gold and a smokey Jade set in brass and officially asked Will to marry her. And, of course, he said yes.
