FAQs

Please reference our FAQs for answers to general questions, if you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out!
Question

Do you have hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block at the Holiday Inn in Manahawkin (The Mainland) and a discount code for rooms at the Drifting Sands Ocean Front Hotel. If you would like to book at either hotel, it would be best to reserve early, as it is peak season. If you would like to stay somewhere else, there are many other hotels along the island where you can reserve a room outside of our room blocks. These include: Daddy-O Hotel, Surf City Hotel, Spray Beach Ocean Front Hotel, and The Boulevard Hotel. Airbnbs and rentals are also an option! Please note that if you want to stay at the Holiday Inn in Manahawkin, please reserve your room by May 17th!

Question

Your room block at the Holiday Inn says that it is completely booked, what do I do?

Answer

This is most likely because you did not put the room block code CMW in the group code section when searching for the room. As of April 29th, there are 4 king bed rooms and 4 double bed rooms still available. Please ensure that you enter the code CMW before searching or call the hotel directly for help at 1-800-Holiday and provided the group code and the last name of the bride or groom.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the ceremony between 4:00-4:30 pm! Friendly reminder that most hotels in the area offer check-in at 4 pm - if you are expecting to be able to access your hotel room before the wedding, it is recommend to arrive the night before.

Question

Is there parking at the Farm on Main?

Answer

Yes! The Farm has plenty of parking for guests planning to drive to the venue.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will have two shuttles running to and from both hotels to the venue on the day of the wedding for both drop off and pick up. We will update the website when we receive a schedule of when the shuttles will arrive at each hotel.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we kindly request a garden formal attire for our wedding celebration. For women, this typically means elegant but comfortable dresses (like midi or maxi) in breathable fabrics in pastels, bright colors, or floral prints. For men, this typically means lighter suits, a dress shirt, and comfortable shoes. Please note that we plan to get married by the pond at The Farm, so we recommend choosing appropriate footwear for a grassy area.

Question

Can I bring a date/kids?

Answer

Only those who are listed on the invitation are invited, we appreciate your understanding!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Our registry is linked to our wedding website! Please click the registry tab to see the items that we have selected.
