FAQs

Question

What COVID precautions are you taking?

Answer

We are asking all eligible adults who plan to attend, to have received COVID-19 vaccination. In the event only partial vaccination (1st dose only of a 2 shot series) can be achieved by the date of the event, please get a COVID test 72 hours prior to the party. Here is a link to local Omaha testing sites: https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/04bef9722eca4c71ae004fab461e3af7 We understand that the situation above may make you attending our wedding reception in-person impossible. This deeply saddens us because we love you and will miss you, but as much as we want to celebrate our marriage with you present, we want you to stay safe more.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless we have specifically invited a guest (i.e names were listed on the invitation) we are not allowing invitees to bring a guest.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire (suits and party dresses, please). Although both the reception and ceremony will be taking place indoors, the fall weather in Omaha can be fickle, so we would recommend dressing in layers.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Friday, October 1st, 2021 so we can provide an accurate guest count for our caterers.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking for the ceremony at St. John's can be found on Creighton University's campus. There are two visitor parking lots across the street from the church that can be accessed via N 24th ST or N 27th Plaza. Parking is free and ample at Villa Aletta for the reception.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered through our wedding website, Zola.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have created a hotel block at the Regency Marriot: 10220 Regency Cir, Omaha, NE 68114 (402) 399-9000

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We wish we could take care of everything for you, but we will not be providing transportation. So you can plan accordingly, there is currently a shortage of Uber/Lyft drivers in Omaha due to COVID.

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Our caterer is the local restaurant, Mangia Italiana. We will be serving pasta (with both a meat and vegetarian option), salad, and dessert. Tyler & Megan will be hosting wine, beer & cocktails for the first few hours. Cash bar will be available after.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony so our photographer can get the best shots possible. But we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #TWOPSINAPOD so we can see our day through your eyes!
