Epic French Wedding Experience

On a frigid Tuesday night in Bansko, Bulgaria something crazy happened. I had been in town for only about 3 weeks: joined the CoWorking space, enjoyed many group dinners and learned to ski. This particular week I managed to convince Coworking Bansko to hold a #karaoke night. I remember seeing Troy for the first time at the CoWorking space earlier that evening as I was calling out “Who’s coming to karaoke?!” and one random guy in corner enthusiastically raised his hand. ✋🏻 Cut to 9:30pm and Matthias E Zeitler and I are the only people at karaoke so far, so I text Samantha Mykyte to see if she is coming. Unbeknownst to me she then texts Troy to tell him to come. Thankfully he decided NOT to have an early night and hiked uptown to Bar 360 and met the group. He introduced himself when he arrived and then Matthias asked him “So what are you going to sing for karaoke?” He replied with, “Well, let me look at my list” while opening the notes app on his phone. Matthias immediately says “You have a karaoke list? Megan also has one.” (As I had shown him earlier when planning MY songs for the evening). Troy turns to me with “YOU DO?!” As I reach into my bag and pull out my phone to compare. He says, “I think I just fell a little bit in love with you.” ❤️
