Activities within Sunriver

Activities within Sunriver

Bike, walk or jog on the 30+ miles of paved trails. Unpaved biking trails are also accessible from Sunriver. Splash around at an aquatic center. The Cove and the Sage Springs indoor lap pool & hot tub are available to Sunriver Resort guests. The SHARC has both indoor and outdoor (weather dependent) options. The SHARC is open to the public and some vacation rental companies include passes. Play pickleball, tennis, disc golf, or bocce ball. Go horseback riding at Sunriver stables. Visit the Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory. Stop by The Village for food, beverages, shopping, or equipment rentals. Book an appointment at the Sage Springs Spa.

Bend and the surrounding area has over 25 courses to play, including four operated by Sunriver Resort. Two of Sunriver's courses are open to the public and two are for Resort guests or club members only. Located ~50 minutes north of Sunriver but more than worth the outing for some spectacular views of the river canyon, sheer cliffs, and high desert landscape. A great place for a hike, mountain biking, or rock climbing.

Get out and experience the diverse landscapes. Located just outside Sunriver are Benham Falls, Lava Lands, and Lava River Cave (advanced reservation required). AllTrails Bend is linked below.

The Deschutes River and many local lakes offer great opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, whitewater rafting, and fishing. Rental equipment and guided tours are available in both Sunriver and Bend.
