Guests can relax with a walk or picnic at Meadow Vista Park, explore scenic hiking trails and river views at Hidden Falls Regional Park or Auburn State Recreation Area, or unwind by the peaceful waters of Lake Clementine or Lake of the Pines. For a bit more adventure, the American River offers rafting and kayaking, while the surrounding foothills are perfect for scenic drives, local wineries, and charming cafés. We also recommend taking some time to explore Folsom, where the bride and groom used to live—visit the Historic Folsom district, stroll along the river trails, browse local shops, and enjoy great food and drinks. Whether you’re looking for outdoor fun or a laid-back day of exploring, the area offers something for everyone to enjoy during our wedding weekend.
