FAQs

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make this an adults-only occasion. We hope you are able to take the night off and join us as we celebrate.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says, "and Guest," then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Where should I fly in to?

Answer

Portland International Airport (PDX). Consistently voted one of the best airports in the U.S., PDX is easy to navigate and only 40 minutes away from the wedding venue!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Check our travel page for all the info you need.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a lower and upper parking lot at the venue. The lower lot requires a short walk uphill. We ask that only guests requiring ADA accessibility use the upper lot for parking, but all guests may use the upper lot for drop-off/pickup.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ve set up an open bar with beer, wine, and cocktails. Please drink responsibly and keep in mind that we have set up a shuttle to go to our blocked hotels to the ceremony and back!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Check our schedule page for more details.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal attire is preferred. The wedding colors are navy, lavender, and sage green. Keep in mind venue is outdoors so the grass might be not friendly to stilettos.

Question

Is the ceremony outside? What about the recepetion?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both outdoors, weather permitting.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Summers in the Columbia River Gorge are usually temperate with highs in the mid 80s during the day and temperatures in the low 60s in the evenings.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony so you have time to get seated.
