FAQs

Question

What is the weather like in October?

Answer

October is one of the best times of year in New Orleans. Days are usually warm (upper 70s–low 80s) and evenings can cool into the 60s. Since it’s New Orleans, it might be warmer… or cooler… so bringing a light layer is always a good idea.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to arrive by 4:15 PM so everyone has time to get settled before the ceremony begins at 4:30 PM.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If a plus-one has been reserved for you, it will appear when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your children, we’re keeping the celebration limited to adults and older teens. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is limited parking at Hotel Saint Vincent, and street parking can often be found nearby. We recommend using Uber or a rideshare service when possible.

Question

What if I can’t attend in person?

Answer

We understand that not everyone will be able to join us in person. We’ll be offering a virtual option to watch the ceremony. Please RSVP as “virtual,” and we’ll share the link closer to the wedding.
