Our story started at PCC, right in the middle of the beautiful chaos of nursing school and collegiate sports. It’s funny how one decision—like Megan finally agreeing to leave her desk for a night of volleyball—can change everything. That night at the sports center, Tim walked into the picture, and we’ve been a team ever since. Early on, Tim decided to put his best foot forward—literally—by taking Megan ice skating. As a lifelong skater, he knew the rink was the perfect place to show off just a little bit. It worked better than he could have imagined. Between the laughter on the ice and our first date spent playing piano and guitar, it didn't take long to realize this was going to be something special. We often joke that we "trauma bonded" over our nursing degrees. Between the high-stakes exams and the long clinical hours, we learned how to support one another when things got tough. But we also learned how to celebrate. Our favorite escape was traveling back to Tim’s roots in Canada. Wandering through the breathtaking landscapes of Alberta and beyond, we realized that no matter where we were in the world—a library, a hospital, or a mountain range—we were home as long as we were together. On April 3rd, 2026, we made it official. Tim proposed, Megan said yes, and we began planning the day we get to celebrate this love with all of you.
