Matron of Honor
Megan and Ronnie met in preschool and bonded over a love for arts and crafts that they still share today! Their friendship is unlike any other, and by that, I mean it's pretty weird. For example, one of their favorite memories was being left home alone briefly while Megan's mom ran to the grocery store. They thought it would be so funny to color their entire bodies with gel pens before Megan's mom got home. Joke's on them, when it took endless scrubbing to come off. Some of their normal childhood memories however involve cheerleading, gymnastics, playing school with their brothers and family vacations. Ronnie is the friend who is like family and has truly been there through it all!
Maid of Honor
Macy is the younger sister of the bride, believe it or not. Megan and her sister Macy may have different dads, but that doesn't change their sisterly bond. Megan was 8 years old when Macy was born and was so excited to finally have a little sister, or as she thought, a real-life baby doll to play with. Macy had the pleasure of being tormented by Megan during her younger years and now Megan is regretting giving her the microphone on her wedding day. Hopefully Macy remembers all the good things Megan has done for her over the years!
Bridesmaid
Megan and Emily met while attending a concert at the Sherman theater the summer before freshman year of college. They stood next to each other front row and talked all night. When the show was over, Megan awkwardly asked Emily for her phone number. Soon after they were the best of friends! In the years after they met, they continued to go to concerts, vacations and parties together. They now took on adult hobbies such as gardening and find themselves photographing and sharing their plants with each other.
Bridesmaid
Megan met Amanda at college while waiting outside of class on the first day of spring semester of freshman year. Megan told Amanda she liked her boots and then they sat next to each other in class, instantly becoming best friends. They were both majoring in elementary education and made it a point to take almost every class together. Megan and Amanda were roommates and shared a bedroom for the last two years of college, so you could say they are pretty close friends!
Bridesmaid
Megan met Shannon through dance team at Kutztown freshman year. After joining the team and not knowing anyone, Megan saw Shannon and Emily looking pretty cool stretching before the team run. She decided to ask them to be her friends and run together and they said yes. Megan soon learned that Shannon shared her weird sense of humor, and they are always found laughing over something dumb together. They also shared a love for dance and went on to be dance team captains together, straight killin' it on the b-ball court.
Bridesmaid
If you read the above story about meeting Shannon, this is the Emily from that story. Megan and Emily bonded over Taylor Swift and the Jonas Brothers, and still do to this day. They went on to be roommates for two years and were quite inseparable in college. If one of them went somewhere without the other, it was questioned.
Bridesmaid
Megan met Haley during sophomore year at a college party while dancing (of course). The next week at the first dance team practice she sees Haley walk in. It is dance team tradition for the new veterans to choose a rookie to be the hip to their hop (like bigs and littles of sororities). Megan chose Haley has her "hop" and they went on to be the best hip hop combo in history.
Bridesmaid
Demi is Thad's older sister but has become good friends with Megan throughout the years. They bonded over their love for teaching, Taylor Swift and of course, Thad. There are always lots of laughs when the family is together, and Demi has been a big part in making Megan feel like part of their family. Being the oldest in her family, Megan has always wondered what it would be like to have an older sibling and soon enough she will officially have one!
Best Man
Thad and Nick met in middle school. When high school came around, they played baseball and basketball together. Nick and Thad hung out pretty much on the daily. Not much changed when they went to college and remained roommates for all 4 years. Needless to say, Nick was like the brother Thad never had. Their friendship today consists of their love of sports, baseball cards and reminiscing about the good ol' days.
Groomsman
Thad and Kevin met in high school through their mutual friend group. They had a unique friendship that landed them lead roles performing in multiple sets in their high school's "Harmony Scholars" fundraiser, which can be found on YouTube (highly recommend). Kevin and Thad played basketball together and often found themselves getting yelled at by their coach for goofing off. To this day, they can still be found giggling over something ridiculous together.
Groomsman
Thad met Matt, aka Ted, in freshman year of college where they lived in the same dorm. Their friendship was formed from typical boy college activities, mostly involving beer. Fun fact, Ted has the fastest beer chug in the tri-state area. Maybe if we're lucky we'll get to see this incredible party trick at the wedding. Today, Thad and Ted's friendship still involves beer, but has expanded to fishing and disc golf.
Groomsman
Zach is Megan's younger brother, who you will find yourself in a never-ending conversation with, this is your warning. If you've ever thought Megan is quiet, it's because she never got the chance to talk and got used to life that way! Thad first met Zach when he was visiting Megan in college. They quickly became like family after vacations and holidays together. Growing up with only sisters, they will finally have the brother they were always hoping for!
Groomsman
Jared is married to Amanda, one of Megan's bridesmaids. Thad first met Jared when they both were heading to Megan and Amanda's house in college. They were both alarmed to see another guy entering the house whom they never met before. At first, they acted tough until they discovered they were there for different girls. They shared a beer and laughed about it later. It wasn't until after college that the two became close friends through the "Kutztown girls" reunion hangouts. Now the guys hangout without the girls!
Groomsman
Matt is married to Shannon, one of Megan's bridesmaids. Thad and Matt knew of each other in college through the girls. Matt came to visit Shannon and tagged along to the parties that Thad and his roommates threw. Similar to Jared's story, it wasn't until after college that the two became close friends when the girls planned get togethers. They bonded over their love for basketball and baseball.
Groomsman
Saul is engaged to Haley, one of Megan's bridesmaids. Before Haley and Saul started dating, Haley was like a little sister to Megan and Thad, and they were protective over her and cautious of who she dated. When Saul came along, they definitely made him prove himself but ultimately, he won them both over. The four (now plus baby Landon) go on double dates all the time. Saul and Thad share a love of IPA's and frequent all the local breweries together.
Groomsman
Keith is married to Emily, one of Megan's bridesmaids. Keith was the last of the KU crew boyfriends that Thad met because he and Emily lived in D.C. for a while. Luckily, Em and Keith moved back to the Lehigh Valley and that is where Thad and Keith's friendship took off. The two bonded over their love for disc golf, sports and talking about work.
Ring Bearer
Benji Boo is honored to be a part of his parent's wedding day! He can't wait to celebrate with everyone.
