The Wedding Website of Megan Guymon and Tessa Edwards
Most of you will want to fly to the Seattle/Tacoma Airport and then drive from there to Anacortes, WA. You will then take a ferry for the Anacortes Ferry Terminal to Orcas Island where our wedding will be held at the Odd Fellows Hall. There are many lodging options on the island. However, summer is a busy time on the island and lodging books up quick! So please please plan ahead and book lodging and ferry tickets ASAP! The wedding party will all be staying in an Airbnb on the island. We plan to celebrate late into the night on Saturday!. Tessa and I will be in WA and on the island a few days early so let us know if you come in early so we can fill you in on any adventures we plan to go on (Sea kayaking, whale watch, hikes, etc.). Washington holds a special place in our hearts so we are so excited for you all to come out and see why we love it so much and we hope you love it too!

Airbnb

There are several Airbnbs on Orcas Island. These would all be fabulous options. They have several large houses available which may be fun to find guest to room with.

Hotels or Airbnbs in Anacortes, WA

If you are wanting to stay near the ferry port on the main land, Anacortes, WA, has a ton of hotels/motels/and Airbnb's. Anacortes may be a more affordable option with a wider variety of places to stay. You may want to consider staying on the island Saturday 8/19 if possible so that you can relax, have a drink, and not worry about catching a ferry back to the mainland. However, Anacortes is a great option too and we will be more than happy to answer any ferry questions you may have!

Travel Note

Anacortes Ferry Terminal

https://secureapps.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/reservations/vehicle/SailingSchedule.aspx?cookieCheck=true The above link will allow you to reserve a spot for you vehicle on the ferry. This is the most important part to do early if you plan to drive on to the ferry. We will send out a mass message to alert people to when the reservations become available for our wedding date. At this time we suggest you book your round trip reservation. ***Please note: if you make a reservation, you still must arrive early to your terminal as the ferry waits on nobody. We suggest planning to be there about an hour before departing time*** Walking onto the ferry is a great option too. There is no need to make reservations and it’s only $15/person and $7 for kids over 5 and free for kids under 5. We plan to have a shuttle option available for those who choose to walk onto the ferry because they are staying off the island. This is a slightly more cost effective option however staying on the island is an awesome experience. https://wave2go.wsdot.com/webstore/shop/viewItems.aspx?cg=21&c=74 You can also purchase tickets online or at the terminal gate. We suggest purchasing them ahead of time if you can. Space and release dates depend on the route and the seasonal sailing schedule. Find the current and upcoming schedules on the schedule page.
