We met when I (Megan) was a Junior and Shane was a Senior. We originally had opposite lunches, but had a combined lunch during I-SAT testing week. We then took that chance to hangout and get to know each other. We went down to the Spirit Lake beach and walked along a fallen tree floating in the water. Shane was intimidated and shy, but I was determined and bold. I told Shane that same day that I believed we were going to get married. He was a little skeptical at first, but he quickly saw how serious I was and we fell in love fast. We have gone through so much together which makes us all the more strong. We are best friends and are so excited to continue our journey in this next step!
