We first met while we were both working on the labor and delivery unit at St. Elizabeth hospital. Sean as a resident doctor, and Megan as a nurse. The other nurses on the unit thought Sean seemed like a decent prospect for Megan and started playing match maker. Sean and Megan had the opportunity to chat a little during their care of a mutual patient. Sean thought she was cute and Megan thought he was funny. A friend told Megan that night after Sean had gone home, "You miss all the shots you never take." and encouraged Megan to get in touch with Sean. Megan took her advice.... and Sean suggested going out for drinks. Our first date was at Cappy's in Lincoln and involved beer, wings and pool.
