Dress code for the Wedding is Formal / Black Tie Optional! Don't be afraid of color in our tropical venue! Women: Long Dresses Men: Suit and a fun tie For the Welcome Party, the attire is dressy casual. We are in a beach town so wear your vacation best.
The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30 pm. We recommend guests arrive between 3:45 - 4:15. There will be a bus from the Seabird to the venue with limited availability. Please text Marnee Farley to secure a spot! (949) 735-4628
There is plenty of parking onsite. We ask that if you plan on drinking, please text Marnee about the bus there or plan to uber/lyft. You can leave your car overnight if necessary (just pick it up between 10am - 12pm on Saturday!)
The ceremony & cocktail hour are outdoors with the reception under a tent. It can cool off at night during the fall. We recommend keeping an eye on the forecast!
Search for "Oceanside Pier" and you should find a lot close to the downtown area! Careful with some of the low prices by the water, there's a range of quality but we recommend north of the pier! Feel free to reach out to Sam or Marnee if in doubt and looking for a good rec!
Sam and Megan really want to let loose and celebrate with you the day after! Plans to be finalized closer to the day when we know a bit more about the weather. Beach is our first choice but October weather can be 50 or 80! There are a lot of great breweries and restaurants in the area and a major college football match up - South Carolina vs Bama...
Kids are not invited to the wedding, but are welcome for the weekend! If you are looking for day of childcare, let us know and we can provide options.
Unfortunately we only have space for those included on your invitation.
Hotel parking is expensive but there are some overnight lots in the area with cheaper rates as well as street parking. The wedding venue is the only activity not in walking distance. It's about 20 minutes from downtown and has parking but Ubers are always a great option.
