One time at band camp in 2010, a simple boy from Lake Elsinore, California and a bubbly girl from Beaverton, Oregon started their next adventure in life by attending the University of Oregon. They both signed up for the University of Oregon Marching band, Ryan was adapting to the change from the move from the desert to the forest and was approached by Megan during a lunch break after an exhausting morning on the marching band field. As Megan sauntered over to Ryan, she thought of the perfect thing to say, "Hi! I'm Megan. Since you're a redhead, we are obviously going to be best friends!" The remainder of that year Ryan and Megan slowly started to become friends. By the time Ryan and Megan went to the Rose Bowl in 2012, there connection became undeniable. They hung out the whole trip and that connection continued to expand when they arrived back in Eugene, Oregon. Megan was right, they had indeed become best friends. On St. Patrick's Day 2013, Megan decided to take the next steps in their friendship and took a chance. While Ryan walked Megan back to her apartment, she kissed Ryan and the two decided that they would start dating. After the 2013 school year, Megan moved back to Beaverton, but the two decided that they would continue their relationship long distance while Ryan finished his undergrad degree. In 2015, the two decided to take their next step in their relationship and moved to Vancouver, WA where Megan would attend Clark College and receive her dental hygiene license and bachelors degree. Ryan and Megan adopted a wonderful feline companion named Cloud and started their family. On January 12th 2019, Ryan and Megan went on a family vacation to Oahu, Hawaii where after 6 years of dating, Ryan finally asked Megan to get married. Since the proposal, Ryan and Megan moved to Beaverton, Oregon. Ryan attended Lewis & Clark College where he received his Master's degree in Teaching in July of 2020 and Megan continued her dream job as a dental hygienist.
