Things To Do
There is plenty to do in DC, a lot of which is free! Any of the Smithsonian museums are free to the public. A lot of them are located around the National Mall, making it easy to combine them with seeing the monuments. Some museums, and the zoo, started requiring timed passes during the pandemic. Make sure to check websites in advance, as not all of the requirements have been lifted. If you have "The Smithsonian" in mind, you are likely thinking of Smithsonian National Museum of American History.
