Detroit Riverwalk
This is where we got engaged! It is a beautiful spot to see the skyline of both Detroit and Windsor. You can also go for a walk along here to the Dequindre Cut. Let us know if you need a Strava running route!
Eastern Market
They offer arguably one of the best farmers markets on Saturday mornings. We would highly recommend if you are in town on Saturday morning (especially the pierogi stand).
Germack
They have fantastic drip coffee, beans, espresso, as well as their famous pistachios and other delicious snack mixes. One of our must stops if we are in Eastern Market.
Eastern Market Brewing Co
One of our favorite breweries, also in Eastern Market. They have a great selection of a variety of beer. Please note they do not serve food, unfortunately.
Bakersfield DET
One of our Detroit favorites with great street tacos and margs. We recommend their short rib queso!
Slows Bar BQ
It's not Kansas City or North Carolina BBQ, but it's a solid staple before Lions games. They also have a lot of gluten free options!
Union Assembly
Right near Comerica Park. They have great Detroit style pizza, sandwiches, and fun cocktails.
Lafayette Coney Island
The superior authentic coney dog. Duh.
