We can't wait to celebrate with you!

We met through mutual friends towards the end of our freshman year of college just casually at a party. At the time, we never thought anything of it. Going into Sophomore year, I had finally made it into the music program and he had just switched majors from psychology to music therapy, making our schedules almost identical as "freshmen but not". Seeing a familiar face bright and early in Theory 1 and sitting by each other started it all. Before we knew it, we became close friends and made countless memories together doing homework, practicing our repertoire, or just simply hanging out in Blackbird. By the time Spring Break rolled around during our 4th year, we confessed our feelings for each other and agreed to give dating a shot once we got back from Spring Break. Unfortunately, this was the Spring Break of 2020 and we never did go back in person that semester. After months of waiting and hearing "just one more week until things open up again", we decided "you know what? let's just go for it" and we had our first date on FaceTime. On June 3rd, we both made some form of Mac n' Cheese for dinner (unplanned) and watched a show on Disney plus from our childhood homes. Fast forward 5 years and many life experiences later, he asked me to be his wife on July 19th, 2025 and we are so excited to celebrate this new chapter of our lives with all of our friends and family on June 7th, 2026!
