Randy and I met through mutual friends in 2010. We became very close as the years went on. I went off to college and Randy became busy with his career. After about two years, Randy asked me out on a date for the first time. Since we were both around the Willis area, we decided to go the famous Pizza Shack. We sat and talked for hours about everything and anything you could possibly think of. On that day, we knew that this relationship was going to last a lifetime! Now here I am about to marry the love of my life!
Randy had been working long hours at work for a few weeks and I was very busy with work as well giving us not a whole lot of time together. He decided that we needed a night out to ourselves, so he took me to Kirby’s Steakhouse in the Woodlands where we had our one-year anniversary dinner. I told him that that place was to fancy and that we were not celebrating anything special. As we pulled up to the restaurant, Randy told me that he did not make a reservation but would lie to the hostess saying that it was our anniversary (which it was totally not). I sat in the truck as he went in to see if they had an opening. A few minutes later, he came back and told me to play along. As we were walking to the font of the restaurant, a lady started walking outside with a camera in hand, she said that it was a new thing to take pictures of anniversary dinner for the guest. I said that was so nice of them and told her if she could please take one with my phone. Randy and I walked farther down the hill where the water was. The lady said one, two, and three, I smiled, thinking she was just taking a picture but then noticed that Randy was pulling away from me. I asked him where he was going, that the lady was not done and there he was down on one knee with a box in hand with the most beautiful ring ever. He told me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. I was in tears because the man of my dreams was going to become my forever. He asked the magic words that I have dreamed about me entire life and I said YES!
