Como Park Zoo & Conservatory

Admission to Como Park Zoo & Conservatory is always free, but donations are appreciated. The suggested donation is $4 for adults, and $2 for children. The Zoo is open 10am - 6pm everyday.

Cossetta's

In the late 1800’s. Michael Cossetta came to St. Paul from Calabria, Italy, and settled in a little Italian neighborhood in St. Paul called the Upper Levee. By 1911, he opened a tiny food market called Cossetta’s. Since 1984, Cossetta’s has been known for its award-winning pizza, homemade sauces, handmade Italian sausages and welcoming staff. Cosetta's Alimentari has an eatery and pizzeria, Frank's Levee Tavern, Louise (ristorante and bar), Pasticceria, and Italian Market. Louis Ristorante & Bar is great for a sit-down meal. Served individual or family style! Frank's Levee Tavern will transport you to the streets of Italy by enjoying street food like arancini misto-risotto balls, potato croquettes, stromboli or a famous porchetta Italian sandwich. The Italian Market now has quality Italian products including hard-to-find imported ingredients and an expanded line of house-made sauces and foods. The Pasticceria is filled with authentic Italian pastries and gelato.

On Sunday's they have a build-your-own bloody bar and breakfast! Harriet Island Regional Park

Harriet Island Regional Park is one of Saint Paul’s most popular parks and sits along the Mississippi River. Fun Fact: St. Paul was not always intended to be the capitol of Minnesota. Located 60 miles south, St. Peter, was originally intended to be the capitol. Another Fun Fact: Prestin went to Gustavus Adolphus College located in St. Peter! Raspberry Island provides stunning views of downtown Saint Paul. Fun Facts: Buildings for the Minnesota Boat Club have sat upon the island since 1885; the Minnesota Boat Club Boathouse structure was built in 1910. Between 1949 and 1968, the island was used by the United States Navy.
