[March 3rd, 2018] Peter had gone to a Colorado Mammoth lacrosse game with friends and they followed it up with drinks at Nallen's Irish Pub. They were standing outside the bar, having the uber home vs. one-more-bar debate about the time Megan strolled up to Pour House (next door to Nallen's) to meet friends. While waiting for them to close tabs, Megan and co. struck up a conversation with Peter and co. on the sidewalk. Skip forward 15 minutes to when Megan invited Peter to join her at Gaslamp for a dance... and he said yes.
For Thanksgiving last year, we ventured to Santa Fe for a few days, checking out the Meow Wolf Museum (awesome!), and cozying up by the fire in our adorb adobe home. Santa Fe has a Black Friday holiday lighting event in the downtown plaza. Picture this - one square block filled with hundreds of people and a small gazebo where a small band badly sang carols and the local dignitaries were all present... the social event of the season. Then there was a countdown, the lights came on, Megan turned around for a 360 view, to then find Peter down on one knee, in a puddle. This time, it was her turn to say yes.
