We recommend taking Highway 17 into Santa Cruz, even if your GPS suggests Bear Creek Road as an alternate route. Bear Creek Road is a narrow, winding mountain road, while Highway 17 is generally the easier drive for most guests. Please note that traffic may be heavier than usual due to the holiday weekend, so be sure to allow extra travel time.
