Shailee Williams

Maid of Honor

Shailee is the younger sister of the bride, and a fellow Epsilon Epsilon member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Shailee and Megan shared many fun times together dancing, watching movies, and going to Disney World with their family. Shailee is the fifteenth member of her family to attend Baylor University ('17).

Nick Parker

Best Man

Nick and Niles have been best friends since they met at Tallowood Baptist Church in 2015 in the Compass Bible study class. Nick shared his passion for fishing with Niles, and the two have gone on many adventures together including leading a men's Bible study and leading younger discipleship groups of 6th and 8th grade boys. Niles was also Nick's best man at his wedding.

Jordan Wilkins

Jordan was Megan's first friend after coming to Tallowood in 2013 when she first moved to Houston. The two can often be found at either Alamo Drafthouse watching a classic film or at Sushi Wabi over dinner.

Mike Legere

Mike and Niles also met in the Compass Bible study class in 2015. Mike was Niles' first friend at Tallowood. They have enjoyed going camping together and talking politics.

Katie Grover-Bennett

Katie and Megan met at Baylor University through their sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta (PC '08). Introduced through Katie's older sister, Elizabeth, the two became fast friends and Katie became Megan's official Theta "big sister." They spent may evening's together watching movies and dreaming up their next big venture!

Matthew Sumpter

Both Matt and Niles arrived in Houston at about the same time. They were both in a discipleship group together, where they became fast friends. Both are fans of the Houston Astros!

Whitney Van Laningham

Megan was blessed with the opportunity to be Whitney's Theta 'big sister' at Baylor University. There, they went on many adventures together to the Ghetto HEB, learning how to cook, giggling at the movies, watching endless hours of The X Files, and going to lots and lots of Theta parties.

Bryon Carey

Bryon and Niles enjoy laughing and cracking jokes together. They have know each other since Bryon joined the Compass class at Tallowood a few years ago. They also enjoy doing everything from competing on the church kickball team to watching Super Troopers 2 together.

Katherine & Vivienne

Katherine and Vivienne are the twins of Megan's cousin, Caroline (who is a twin herself!).

Brooke Andrews

Bridesmaid

Brooke and Megan have been friends since they were babies in Corpus Christi, Texas. They grew up going to Baylor football games with their families, and were founding members of the Brazos Bear Club where they have been tailgating every year since. From the nursery at First Baptist Corpus Christi to cheering on the Bears at Homecoming Megan and Brooke have always loved laughing and spending time with their families together.

John Williams

Brother of the Bride

John is the younger brother of the bride, and also a Baylor University graduate ('15). Together, he, Megan and Shailee have gone on many adventures together - from a thousand Baylor Homecoming game attendances (and many baby sandwiches eaten at the tailgate tent), to sibling trips to Port Royal on Mustang Island, to a thousand road trips all across Texas. He is the resident photographer, tech-wiz, and story-teller.

Bethany Jenkins

Sister of the Groom

Bethany and Niles met in the early '90s. They always enjoyed going to their grandparents' home in Arizona and many Woodcrest Christian events. When Bethany moved to Texas, Niles followed a few years later.

Dr. Duane Brooks

Officiant

Dr. Brooks began his ministry at Tallowood Baptist Church on Sunday, May 17, 1998. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Baylor University, cum laude, in 1984, and his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1987. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree from Baylor University in 1991.
