Rehersal Dinner

5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Business Casual

This will be a formal plated meal. Following dinner, everyone is welcome to hang out at the house for as long as you would like. Basic alcoholic beverages will be provided. If there is something in particular you would like to enjoy, we ask that you bring it. There will be some small activities throughout the house, as well as a small fire pit on the back patio.

Photos at Shenandoah National Park with Megan and Nicholas

12:00 pm - 4:30 pm

This will be a private event for Megan and Nicholas to take photos at various locations within Shenandoah National Park.

Touch Ups/Family Photos

4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Fall Semi Casual

If you would prefer to change into your wedding attire at the house, there will be two bedrooms available. We ask that everyone arrives to the house ready by 4PM. The couple should be returning from their mountain top photos by then. Megan and Nick would like to take a majority of the wedding photos with family/friends prior to the ceremony. Light refreshments will be served at this time.

Wedding Ceremony

5:30 pm - 6:00 pm

This event is Fall Semi Formal.

Please wear clothes matching our fall color palette. We ask that you please avoid burgundy/wine, gray and navy blue as this is what the wedding party will be wearing. This will be an unplugged ceremony. There will be a box inside the house that we ask you place your phone in before the start of the ceremony. Reverend Shelton will remind everyone that it is an unplugged ceremony before its start as well.

First Dance

6:00 pm - 6:15 pm

Immediately following the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds will have their first dance. This will be followed by the Father/Daughter dance, Mother/Son dance and Grandmother/Groom dance for her birthday and parents of the bride and groom dance.

Reception Dinner

7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Appetizers will be offered while the family completes any remaining photos. An open bar will be available from 4-10PM for your enjoyment. Please remain flexible during this time as we may move into cake cutting prior to dinner depending on timing with the photographer. Appetizers will be as follows: Apple and Gruyere Butternut Crisps or Roasted Red Pepper and Burrata Phyllo Cup. Salad course will consist of Wild Hare Harvest Salad with Apple Cider Vinaigrette. In addition to the cake, there will also be Limoncello Sorbet.

After Party

Following dinner, change into comfy clothes and hang out with the newlyweds! There will be smores, music, games and more.
