Like eating burgers at 3am in Vegas while barefoot activities. These two are the kind of friends where one can say "what's that one show with the guy?” and somehow the other gets “Big Bang Theory” in return—mind meld level: expert. They’ve shared life’s ups and downs, always supporting each other and finding ways to laugh along the way. They've binge-watched Greek, flip-flopped on whether they’re Team Cappie or Team Evan, and probably eaten their body weight in good food (courtesy of Kelli’s amazing cooking). But Megan still has one top-secret recipe she refuses to hand over. Some things must remain sacred. 😉💅

Carly, Nick’s sister, has an eye for fashion, interior design, and photography, making everything she touches feel timeless—including Megan and Nick’s engagement photos. She’s a woman who knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to make it happen! Whether that’s buying a whole-ass horse or starting her own photography business, her drive is truly admirable. 🐴📸 Carly and Megan enjoy country music together—even if Nick doesn’t—and will always love the night they annoyed him while learning a line dance. Megan couldn’t be more thrilled to be gaining a sister-in-law who she can count on to always tell her the truth and encourage her to be more decisive. Carly is a classy, handy lassie with a big heart, who embodies the true meaning of “go-getter” in everything she does. Megan feels blessed to call her family and a friend! ❤️

Megan first met Kaleigh on a Cedar Point trip, and the moment they started posing like dinosaurs for pictures, she knew she liked her. Her goofy lighthearted energy made Megan feel not just accepted but celebrated for her quirks. Kaleigh practically oozes creativity and ingenuity, always turning simple moments into something fun. Together they share a love of parody songs, SpongeBob references, and art nights where they’d each work on whatever inspired their imaaaginaaaation 🤲🌈 Kaleigh’s the kind of friend who reminds you that being silly is an art form—and that life’s best moments are often unscripted with a sprinkle of goofiness. 🦕

No one’s quite sure when Megan and Erica officially became friends—it was more of a slow campfire burn than a lightning strike. Maybe it started at one of Erica’s perfectly themed parties, a last-minute Taylor Swift concert, or during Christmas bar-hopping festivities. Wherever it began, their friendship has been glowing ever since. These two share a love of fashion, passion, and “noodling” on life’s biggest or smallest problems until they find the perfect solution. When they do? You’ll definitely hear a triumphant “NOODLED IT!” Whether they’re dreaming up fun scenarios, painting the town red—or rainbow at the Pride parade—they’re proof that some friendships just fall into place. 🌈✨

As Fate would have it, Megan chose to room with Meghan sophomore year of college after stalking her Facebook for silly pics and saw that unforgettable smile. That choice led to Subway and Taco Bell runs, swapping dirty jokes, sipping peanut butter smoothies, and pondering the mysteries of the universe. 🌌 Her love of Jimmy Fallon eventually led them to a New York trip to see his show! She and Megan lived with a group of girls in the best apartment in West Chester, where they giggled over Megan’s epic food addictions—mac n’ cheese, Cosmic Brownies, and blueberry bread. Warm, welcoming, and fearlessness to stand in justice, Meghan even disposes of litter wherever she goes. Her dedication and motivation have always been an inspiration to Megan, especially with her fitness journey. She shows that anything you set your mind to can be achieved. 😉✨

Whether it’s finding hidden gems around town, picking the perfect gift, or planning the next Disney day, Sage always knows where the magic’s at. ✨ She’s the kind of friend who challenges the world, fights for what’s right, and makes you feel like a total badass just by standing next to her. With her open mind, fearless spirit, and knack for fresh ideas, Sage is proof that kindness and rebellion can absolutely sparkle together. 😉

Alayna and Meg go way back just like the Golden Girls—like Odyssey of the Mind in middle school, high school drama club plays, and those “kicking butt in volleyball then quitting on top” days. Together they’ve mastered the art of peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, making Spanish class 'divertida', and breaking into random song spurts at any moment. Their friendship is built on One Tree Hill sleepovers, Gilmore Girls nights, cooking, and countless other adventures. Alayna has always been the calm, steady presence who reminds Megan what it feels like to be home—no matter where life goes. “Oh, what a night” and "Truly Madly Deeply" will forever be their unofficial theme songs. 🎶💛

Greg ‘kicked’ off his friendship with Nick when they met at Cross Country practice in high school. In between hundreds of miles run, they quickly discovered how similar their interests are. From multiple music festivals, to sports, to Pat McAfee’s Big Night Aht, and everything in between, there hardly was a weekend they didn’t spend together over the last nearly 20 years. Hell, they even lived together twice (three times if you count spending literally every weekend at RMU, sleeping on Nick’s couch during his senior year). Greg has become such an important part of Nick’s life, he was even there the day he asked Megan out. When Nick yelled downstairs saying he had a girlfriend, he promptly yelled back “who is it?” - always sarcastically quick witted and bringing laughter to every room. Thick as thieves these two are, and will forever be.
Joey Gates

Nick naturally met Joey through Megan as they are siblings. While you might expect their friendship to feel forced, it actually grew quite naturally. Both having grown up with just one sister, they quickly found common ground and shared a sense of comfort with each other. From the start, neither of them ever felt the need to be anyone other than themselves. Nick has always admired Joey’s ability to chase his dreams, no matter how they evolve, and his fearlessness in taking bold leaps along the way.
Neal Daley

Neal and Nick met in high school through mutual friends and bonded over both being oddballs. The “Rubix cube solving race during study hall” type of oddballs when Neal was supposed to be working on Yearbook. Many cases of Mountain Dew were consumed over the years in his parent’s basement while playing video games until sunrise. Their bond expanded when Neal needed emotional support and Nick’s solution was to start weight lifting for the first time. They’ve been going consistently to the gym together for over 7 years (you’re welcome Emily). During the pandemic, Neal, Greg, Nick and Megan were the Covid Crew, having a Corona a day to keep the Corona away. While Neal is often viewed as the man who can fix anything, to Nick he will also always be someone to look up to - always going above and beyond to help everyone around him.
Chris Forney

Although Forney and Nick attended the same high school, it wasn’t until college at RMU that their friendship truly began. With a circle of mutual friends, many Saturday nights were spent together sharing a cold one (or twelve). After graduation, as Nick was focusing on his career, he realized he wanted to get back in shape. That’s when Forney stepped in, helping Nick get back into a gym routine and in the process, achieving the biggest ‘guns’ of his life. Since those early days, the two have traveled countless miles together via road trips across the country (and beyond). Their friendship is one where they know they can always count on each other, whether for a good laugh or in times of need. Nick is honored to have Forney by his side on his wedding day.

There isn’t one specific moment that sparked Tom and Nick’s friendship. Instead, it grew organically over the years; through parties, late-night grocery store runs figuring out how to feed twenty friends, and a wild night at a casino in Cleveland. They’ve shared countless seemingly small moments that ended up being life-altering. One that stands out was when Nick gave Tom the pep talk to go chat with a woman having a glass of wine during a trip to Charlotte. That woman would go on to become Tom’s wife. Through it all, Nick and Tom have always been there for each other—no matter where life takes them.
Chad Charlesworth

While Chad and Nick were friends throughout high school, their bond truly strengthened when Chad transferred to RMU. Less than a year later, they were living together in Coraopolis, in a house of questionable structural integrity. Though the place may have been slowly falling apart, it became the backdrop for countless memories, including the legendary discovery of “Yee.” Many concerts, beers, and 5 a.m. music history lessons later, their friendship remains as strong as ever—and Nick knows it will only continue to grow in the years to come.
Matt Hudak

Matt and Nick’s friendship really began to strengthen during Nick’s freshman year of college. They quickly bonded over long afternoons spent longboarding around campus, doing their best to avoid cars, discovering 'story circle', and staying one step ahead of campus police. From toga parties, to inflatable pools, to painting up at basketball games, Hudak was able to get Nick out of his comfort zone in the best way possible. After Hudak moved to Charlotte post-graduation, Nick seized the opportunity to explore a new city, visiting Matt regularly to make even more unforgettable memories. Through every stage of life, these two have remained close, and their bond will only continue to grow in the years to come.
