we're getting married!

Neal was really good friends with my roommate Sami, so he was constantly over at our apartment. I was told by numerous people that he wanted to ask me out - but after a year he never did. So... I got his phone number and we set up a date. We had hung out with friends in the past, but after our first date I was completely crazy about him. I knew I loved him right away. We moved in together 7 months later.

Basically - I ruined the whole thing. Neal had an amazing day planned (we spent the day at Soldier Hollow with my best friends for my birthday - the scene was beautiful). A few days before, I mentioned to Neal that I didn't need a huge proposal. I didn't want the attention and certainly didn't need a crowd. He changed his plans the day of and ended up proposing to me at our house in our bedroom later that night. I felt terrible after - but it was so perfect. Just the two of us.
