Question

What COVID-19 precautions are in place for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our loved ones safety is top priority. We will have a few guests attending that are in the "higher-risk" category. For this reason, we ask that you be respectful of social distancing guidelines. We will ask that your wear a mask: when indoors (unless sitting down to eat), anytime 6ft. of distance is not possible, and during the ceremony. Be ready to sanitize and wash your hands often. Our high risk guests, as well as many others will not be accepting handshakes, hugs, or any other form of physical contact. We will provide disposable masks for those that do not have one, or prefer this type. We will also have plenty of sanitizing stations throughout the venue!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Anything on the dressy casual/semi-formal/garden attire will do just fine! You may want to re-think the stilettos, as the ceremony will be on grassy, soft ground. Bring extra layers if you think you may hang out with us through the evening. Although there will be heaters and a bonfire after dark, it may get chilly!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Right here on this Zola website!

Question

Can I take and post pictures on social media?

Answer

During the ceremony we will ask that you turn your phones off and put them away. Please leave the photography up to the professionals. At the reception, feel free to snap away! If posting to social media use our hashtag: #OurTrailBeginsAtMarquis

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to COVID, we have had to make some changes regarding "plus ones". Please feel free to text Megan or Michael about this!

Question

What food and drinks will be served?

Answer

Megan loves brunch and somehow convinced Michael to go with this food theme - think beyond just eggs, bacon, and biscuits! For drink, there will be a coffee bar, mimosa bar, beer, ciders, and wine, as well as non-alcoholic drinks. Once the sun is down and bonfire is roaring, we will bring out the makings for a s'mores bar, plus some other tasty fire-roastable snacks.

Question

May I take centerpieces or decorations as a souvenir?

Answer

No, please do not. We are borrowing some decorations that belong to our venue, as well as other decorations that we have collected over a couple years that we would like to keep in our home.
