Formal attire, please! We suggest a tux or nice suit for men. For ladies, gowns or dresses are encouraged.
Yes, but please tell us in advance if you're planning to bring your little ones. We want to make sure there is enough food for all parties.
Maroon, white, gold, and green. Though the groom and groomsmen will be wearing black tuxes.
For guests within driving distance of the venue, there is plenty of free on-site parking.
The ceremony will take place on grass (so please be careful wearing thin heels/stilettos). The reception will take place inside a barn, but there is gravel/dirt between the bar and the barn. This time of year in Placerville is typically on the warmer side, so please keep that in mind with your attire. A cardigan or shawl is recommended in the off chance it gets chilly in the evening.
September in Sacramento/Placerville is quite warm. We were still experiencing 100-110 degree days last September. As we planned for the wedding to begin at 6 PM, we are hopeful it will start to cool down by then. Evenings are much nicer cooling down quite a bit. No humidity in CA.
We only accounted for the '+1's' indicated on your RSVP. If you have a +1 you'd like to bring, please let us know. We are a 'more the merrier' kind of people, but we do need to make sure there is enough food and drink!
There will be an open-bar with limited options. Wine, champagne, beer (some classy Coors Light) and a selection of easy to make cocktails (rum and coke, vodka sprites, old fashioned, etc.) will also be available.
Please arrive between 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM. The ceremony should start soon after 6.
The wedding reception will end at around 10:30/11:00 PM.
