We met each other at our first day at our new Menards store in Farmington, MO. After a few months of working together, we had our first date on Valentine's Day 2017, and have been together ever since!

After a few failed attempts to get to the Smoky Mountains for some hiking and camping, we decided to go camping at Taum Sauk Mountain, which is the highest point in Missouri, and we hiked out to Mina Sauk Falls. We did some climbing over the rocks at the falls, and stopped at a rock to look out over the falls. I turned around to look at something, and when I looked back, he was down on one knee!
