Visit the seals at Pier 39, eat sourdough from Boudin bakery, ride the Cable Cars, enjoy a Irish Coffee from Buena Vista Cafe. Take a ferry to Alcatraz, but this requires a reservation, at least 4-6 weeks in advance.
Golden Gate park has many attractions, visit the Conservatory of flowers, the California Academy of Sciences, the De Young Art Museum, have tea in the Japanese tea garden, ride bikes to visit the Buffalo or enjoy the flowers at the SF Botanical Garden.
Hang out in Alamo Square park and pretend to be part of the Tanner Family, and take your picture with the iconic Painted Ladies.
Enjoy great food and shopping, if you have time hop on a ferry to Sausalito.

Yellow Sub (503 Irving Street): Matt's favorite place in SF, located near Golden Gate park, take your food to go and have a picnic.
