Question

When should I RSVP by?

Kindly RSVP by October 1, 2025 by visiting the RSVP section of our website.

What is the timeline for the evening?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4:30pm and conclude by 5:00pm. Guests will then head across the street to Sundance Bar & Grill for cocktail hour from 5:00pm - 6:30pm. While you enjoy drinks and appetizers, the venue will be transformed for the reception. The reception will begin promptly at 6:30pm.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony doors open at 3:45pm. We kindly ask that you arrive and find your seat by 4:15pm so that the ceremony can begin promptly at 4:30pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress Code: Semi-Formal Suits, blazers, cocktail, midi, or evening-length dresses, and elevated jumpsuits are all welcome. Dark tones are encouraged for the evening. The bridal party will be in emerald green.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’re keeping the celebration adults-only — with the exception of those in the wedding party.

Can I bring a plus one?

Your invitation and RSVP will indicate if a plus one or guest has been reserved for you.

Where should I park?

Answer

Convenient parking is available directly across from the venue at the Midtown Parking Garage (130 Lyon St. NW, Grand Rapids, MI) or a short walk from the venue parking is available at the Louis - Campau Ramp (43 Monroe Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI. Evening rates start at $17. We encourage guests to carpool if possible. If you plan to leave your car overnight street parking is free after 7pm on Friday and continues to be free all weekend.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We won’t have shuttles, but the venue is walkable from several downtown hotels and easily accessible by Uber or Lyft.

Check out our Travel page for recommended hotels near the venue. There is no formal room block, so book what works best for you!

What is the weather like in Grand Rapids in November?

Answer

Crisp and cool! Expect highs in the 40s–50s. The ceremony and reception are indoors, but we suggest bringing a layer for walking downtown.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Enjoy beer, wine, and cocktails. There will also be non alcoholic options to choose from.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones and cameras stay tucked away during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present for this moment with us as we begin our marriage.
