There are a few airports to choose from in the Bay Area, Oakland is generally the easiest with limited delays and only 30 minutes to the East Bay. Southwest is also one of their preferred airlines.

Certainly the largest airport in the Bay Area, SFO offers many options for flights and airlines. SFO is just South of San Francisco and only about 45 minutes to an hour from the East Bay, just be sure to check traffic!
