This story varies a bit based on which one of us you ask...but since I am writing this (Megan), you'll hear the real version. Mark & Megan met in 2015 while hanging out with mutual friends on Catwaba Island. Mark made the first move by sending a direct message to Megan on twitter shortly after this. Years passed and they stayed in touch due to Mark's continued persistence through random texts and instagram messages. Dates and hangouts were few and far between including the occasional trip to Toft's for ice cream. Timing never seemed to line up because they continued as friends throughout the years. It wasn't until October 2019, when Mark reached out to wish Megan a happy birthday and Megan followed up with a "hey stranger" text a few days later (not my best line) that the two became inseparable. Throughout the years, the two have grown in their shared love for family, faith, home remodeling, Cleveland sports, and Lake Erie. Mark took Megan back to where it all began and proposed at Marblehead Lighthouse on December 3rd, 2021. They are excited to share this journey and celebrate with family and friends.
