It's 2009 and 17 year old Mark and 16 year old Megan have found themselves at a mutual friends party. There was a love confession (from neither Mark or Megan), there was dancing, Alcohol and an extremely cool can trick that involves teeth and destruction. All swiftly followed by a kiss and the start of an epic love story!

After 8 long years of waiting Mark finally proposed to Megan. In order to keep it secret from Megan, Mark had to hi-jack another family event. With Shelby's permission (Mark's Sister) he proposed at Jett's 2nd birthday. With Mark's family all already coming and a birthday providing a good excuse to invite Megan's family it all came together. Like a super spy, the ring was hidden in a present bag; some people knew, others didn't. Some thought Megan was pregnant! The proposal happened a little while before the cake. Mark ceremoniously got down on one knee; to which Megan asked "what are you doing" followed soon by a yes (thankfully). After which there was cheers, stunned faces and Grandpa dancing!

Our Wedding Date is actually our 10 year anniversary! It's so crazy that our story started 10 whole years ago BEFORE our wedding I reckon we can get 50 - 60 years of marriage
